C061562 WWII BRITISH 6TH ARMORED DIVISION SHOULDER FLASH.
BACKGROUND
: The 6th Armored Division was created on September 12th 1940 and was mobilized first with the British First Army in North Africa before being deployed with British Eighth Army in Italy.PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: An square black felt patch, 5cm x 5cm, shows a white machine embroidered clenched mailed gauntlet. The original black oil cloth backing is still in place with some very light fraying to the edges. The patch is in very good condition.
