A silver alloy, stamped badge measuring approximately 6.5cm x 5cm badge featuring the mullet from the coat of arms of the Douglas Family (after the first Colonel James Douglas - House of Douglas) surrounded by two sprigs of thistle and a suspended stringed bugle. The reverse is a mirror image of the front with two lugs. Shows the expected light age toning, but overall excellent condition.
