C058663 BRITISH 16/5TH LANCERS (QUEEN’S LANCERS) CAP BADGE. Formed in 1922 at Lucknow India through the amalgamation of the 16^th The Queen Lancers and the 5^th Royal Irish Lancers. This stamped brass and silver alloy cap badge with slider lug measures approximately 4cm x 5cm is constructed with surmounted Kings Crown to crossing flags. The number "16" is to the center with a ribbon that is engraved with "The Queen’s Lancers." Shows the expected light age toning, but overall excellent condition.
