C05354 ITALIAN ARMORED PERSONNEL'S COLLAR TAB.
A 2 3/8" x 1", stamped alloy, right "Mostrine" (collar patch), which features a raised, five-pointed "Stellete" (star), in a natural brass color, against red enameled, double "flames," set against a blue enameled background. The size of the star is consistent with those worn by NCOs and other ranks after 1933, and the outside dimensions of the rectangular patch is typical of those worn during the war years. The colors are those used by armored troops after 1940. A metal, horizontal pin-back device is crimped to a plate brazed to its hollow-back reverse. The collar patch’s obverse is typically age darkened and soiled, and its enamel has numerous small scratches, and three noticeable wear spots, to it.GRADE ***1/4 PRICE $25.00
