C052262 "THE LANCASHIRE FUSILIERS" OVERSEAS CAP. Khaki colored, twill construction, British overseas cap. There are double brass buttons to the front. Pinned to the left side is a, gilt colored, "The Lancashire Fusiliers" cap badge which is held in place by a single slip on tab. There is a 3cm wide cloth sweatband to the interior. The interior lining, is stamped in white with a "broad arrow," the manufacture’s name (S&P Harris) with the size, "7," and the date, "1940". The lining shows darkening due to use, but otherwise, this is a nice example..
