C041359 U.S. WW1 GASMASK WITH BAG. Canvas constructed mask with rubber lined interior. Glass eye lenses. Cloth covered rubber hose which extends to the filter. Rubber to the interior of the hose has mostly crumbled. One tear to the hose near the filter end. Mask is complete with all its original straps and is size marked 3. The green painted metal filter is approximately 5" x 5.5". Original instruction card still attached and the set also comes with an original metal tin of "ANTI-DIMMING" stick for the lenses. Mask is housed it original 10" x 3" x 3" olive colored canvas bag. Bag is complete with all straps and is dated for 1918. Two lift-the-dot fastener mates with a blackened brass stud to the front flap. Flap is also marked size "3". Nice set.
