C040459 ITALIAN M91 COMBAT KNIFE. M1939 Italian combat knife which comes with a nickel/silver plated 8" blade with swedge. The original cross-graining is still faintly visible to both sides. Scabbard runner marks and minor surface spotting may also be seen to both sides of the blade. Plain plated cross guard. The hardwood grip attached by three countersunk rivets and shows normal age wear with a few dings. The steel scabbard retains 85% of it's original black paint. A metal belt loop is welded to the scabbard at an angle, with a rivetted, movable arm and sliding retaining clip.
