C034558 M35/38 (HUNGARIAN) FINNISH ISSUE HELMET. Very similar in design to the German M35 helmet. This particular example was made in Hungary and then exported to Finland. Finns replaced the liner with there own system. Shell retains 95% of it original factory green paint. Liner is three pad style finish made from reindeer leather liner with blue / white gingham liner pads. Liner and chinstrap are untouched and 100% original to the helmet, nicely worn. There is a metal loop on the back of the shell that was used to hang the helmet on a belt or backpack. Shell is maker marked "DM 62". (size 62). Very nice helmet.
