C029658 ITALIAN PISTOL HOLSTER, BELT & BELT BUCKLE. A medium olive-green, WWII, leather belt, 45 1/2" by 1 3/8", with a , blackened steel, double claw buckle at one end and a sewn on tab at the other. At the buckle end of the belt are ten adjustment holes that allow the belt to be shortened by moving the buckle. The belt is threaded through one side of the buckle and is held in place by one claw. The sewn on tab has two adjustment holes. The belt shows almost no wear and retains most of its coloring and the buckle retains almost all its blackening with some minor surface spotting. The holster is the same color as the belt and features a curved edged, fold over top flap. The top flap has a stitched on vertical closure strap and a small horizontal slash near bottom edge. The front body of the holster has a raised metal bar that was designed to be inserted through the horizontal slash on the top flap and the vertical closure strap was then to be inserted through the raised brass bar for a secure closure. The forward right side of the holster has a stitched on extra magazine pocket. The reverse of the holster has a single, stitched and riveted, vertical belt loop. The holster is in overall very good condition with minimal chafe wear.
