C026958 WWI CANADIAN ARTWORK POSTCARD. A mid-weight, cardstock postcard with, to the upper left corner, an embossed, gilt "Nova Scotia Highlanders" cap badge with a "185" hand written to the center. To the right of the badge is the text "From One of the Nova Scotia Highlanders, Serving His King and Country.", along with a poem to the center and a drawing, to the lower left, of a soldier wearing a Tam O’Shanter, holding his rifle with bayonet fixed. To the reverse is a letter home to his sister and a canceled "One Penny" stamp. The postcard is lightly soiled and has some minor rounding of the corners but is otherwise in very good condition.
