C026665 CANADIAN ARMOURED BERET. A single piece black wool beret and brass cap badge, the lower part which is bound in black cloth through which runs a tape that is used to adjust the size. The interior is lined with black cotton, and features a stitched diamond in the center. To the black lining in the diamond can be seen, faintly marked, the size "6 1/2". To the right hand side above the binding are two vent holes with grommets that are reinforced to the inside by a rectangular piece of black leather. Dated 1960. The beret is in good condition with a light to moderate nap wear.
