A hardcover bible measuring approximately 11cm x 15cm x 4.5cm with a brass pressure clip to keep the book safely closed. It is inscribed to the inside front cover ""To Emma McGregor by Sarah." It is also dated "1864." The edge of the pages are gilt that show some moderate yellowing which is typical of the age. A piece of material marks a page.
