C014058 BRITISH WINTER CAMOUFLAGE SNOW SUIT SMOCK. The smock is made from a heavy-weight white cotton, has an integral hood, two pleated patch pockets, with button down scalloped flap closures, to the breasts and two patch pockets, with straight edged button down flaps, to the hips. The button are all black bakelite and appear to have their original stitching. Passing through a tunnel loop sewn into the front edge of the hood is a cloth adjustment tape, while a heavier tape is threaded through a tunnel loop to the waist for the same reason. Both tapes can be tightened to help keep out snow. Sewn to the interior behind the left waist pocket is a very faded white label which the text can just be made out on "Smock", "Size No. 4" and a "broad-arrow". The rest of the text is too faded. Hand written to the interior of the waist band is "Size 3". Except for some minor to light usage staining the smock is in very good condition with no rips or repairs.
