C011757 BRITISH FIELD GUN, TOY. An olive-drab scale model of the British 25-pounder gun/howitzer. It is made from cast alloy, about 4" long by 1 3/4" high, with treaded rubber tires, embossed on the sides with "Britains Ltd England", on alloy rims. It has a spring loaded firing mechanism that is fully functional. Embossed to the tow end of the gun carriage is "Britains Ltd England" while embossed to the bottom is "Pat No 641319". The paint is almost fully retained with some chipping to the edges.
