C006862 BRITISH ROYAL TANK REGIMENT SHOULDER FLASH.
BACKGROUND
: Every infantry or armored regiment had its own insignia. The Royal Armoured Corps Regiments are decedents of the Cavalry Regiments of the Line who rode into battle on horseback as heavy or light horsemen and of the Royal Tank Regiment of the First World War.PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: A rectangular badge, about 8cm x 4cm, with a white and black machine embroidered side view of a First World War tank on a khaki wool background. The badge is in very good condition with the original backing still in place. A very nice clean example.
