C005359 BRITISH MAP/DISPATCH CASE. Large size, 12" x 16" in its folded position. Khaki canvas construction with metal snaps and leather fittings. Front has one large exterior pocket for pencils and rulers while the rear had two pockets for accessories. There are also two clip on the rear for attachment to a neck strap. Interior has two large, clear celluloid, sleeves to fit maps into. All snaps, buttons and straps look to be complete. Unmarked, but either WW2 or slightly earlier. Shows typical age use.
