BACKGROUND: "Die Kriegsmarine" magazine was the official magazine of the German Navy during WWII and was published twice monthly in Berlin by the Marine-Verlag firm with the assistance of the OKM, Oberkommandos der Marine, (High Command of the Navy).

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Roughly, 13" x 9 1/2", sixteen page magazine with the dated heading, "Berlin Zweites Dez.-Heft 1943, Heft 24". The magazine contains assorted articles, photographs and illustrations and numerous period advertisements. The photographs and illustrations reinforce the text. The magazine is in overall good condition with light age yellowing, a couple of small tears, and some minor fraying but all the pages are intact.
