J06453 TWO ARTWORK POSTCARDS. Two printed postcards, the first, which is 3 1/2" x 5 9/16", of lightweight cardstock, and the second, which is 5 1/2" x 3 9/16", of medium weight cardstock and printed to both sides. The latter postcard features a reproduction of a black and white illustration to its obverse, which depicts a tree-lined promenade leading up to a tall monument in the background, with a reclining dog in the right foreground. Along the right edge of the image are two vertical columns of kanji characters. To its reverse is a vertical dividing line, to either side of the left of which are horizontal rows of kanji characters, and to the right of which is another horizontal row of characters, an outline for a stamp with four characters within it, and another square with a horizontal division to its top, within which are three characters. The postcard is lightly age yellowed and soiled, but has no creases or significant edge wear. The other postcard has a horizontal row of characters to its top, to the left of which is a postage stamp-sized square with the image of a dove sitting atop a helmet within it, beneath which is a vertical rectangle with four characters within it, and beneath that is a square with a horizontal division to its top, within which are three characters. All of the aforementioned is printed in red. Its reverse is featureless, and its condition is comparable to the other.
