J02448 SWAGGER STICK/SWORD. A theater-made, 19" long and 3/4" diameter, swagger stick of interwoven light and dark leather concealing a 13 1/2" long blade. A leaf spring is to either side of the ricasso and each side of the tapering blade has the stamped image of a dragon. Age darkening, one nick, and light surface spotting may be seen to the metal. The leather to the exterior is darkened and chafed, and the loop to its end is brittle. An interesting period piece.
