J005860 AIKUCHI DAGGER. A small dirk or dagger without a guard but having a wooden grip and scabbard. With an overall length of 32.5cm, the dirk separates into a 21.5cm long, tapering, oval-shaped scabbard, made from two sections of wood, hollowed to their interiors to accommodate the blade and then glued together, and a 11cm grip to an 19cm blade. Light surface scratching and spotting, as well as some light pitting, may be seen to either side of the blade. Nice clean example.
