J005859 (IJA) "TABI" BOOTS. Split-toed fatigue boots with black canvas ankle-height uppers and treaded rubber soles. A seam rising the full height of the heel to each boot features three brass colored metal tabs to one side, each of which slide into dual loops to the other side. Both boots have a rising sun design embossed to their soles, along with several kanji characters. Excellent examples. Don’t turn up too often, let alone in this nice a condition.
