J004059 (IJN) LANDING FORCES EM/NCO'S SUMMER TUNIC. An unlined, light olive drab cotton twill tunic for warm-weather conditions. The tunic features four exterior pockets, a four-button single-breasted front closure, open neck lapels, and a lay-down collar. The pleated patch breast pockets have straight-edged button down flaps, with buttons, and the unbuttoned slash hip pockets have straight-edged flaps. All of the original buttons to the front closure, and the smaller ones to the breast pockets are complete, each have an anchor with a five-lobed cherry blossom to its center stamped to their metal faces. All of the buttons retain their original gilt wash with the exception of one of pocket example which the gilt is worn from. All buttons look to have original stitching. Vertical tail skirt vents are to each hip. To the left interior front panel is a small white triangular tag with inkstamped kanji. Roughly a size 34. Excellent untouched example, near mint condition. Nice!
