J003459 (IJN) EM/NCO'S SUMMER TUNIC. An unlined, light olive drab cotton twill tunic for warm-weather conditions. The tunic features four exterior pockets, a four-button single-breasted front closure, open neck lapels, and a lay-down collar. The pleated patch breast pockets have pointed-edged button down flaps, with buttons, and the unbuttoned slash hip pockets have straight-edged flaps. All of the original buttons to the front closure, and the smaller ones to the breast pockets are complete and have their original stitching. Vertical tail skirt vents are to each hip. To the left interior front panel is a depot marking with inkstamped kanji. Roughly a size 36. Excellent untouched example, near mint condition. Excellent example.
