J002858 (IJA) EM/NCO'S JUNGLE SANDALS. A pair of lightweight sandals, whose 5/8" thick soles are comprised of rope-like cords with rubber between them. Additional rubber is to their toes and heels. To each of their uppers is sewn a panel of what appears to be waterproofed, light olive drab cotton, and two, similarly-colored, 1 3/8" wide canvas straps rise from beneath the forward part of each of these panels and cross over one another. Honest age and usage wear is evident throughout.
