J002358 (IJA) OFFICER'S ANKLE BOOTS. A pair of private purchase, russet brown leather, ankle-height boots with stacked leather soles and heels. The five-piece stitched uppers have four alloy lacing grommets to either side of their tongues, above which are four, light brown painted alloy hooks, through all of which the laces are fed. Indecipherable markings may be seen to the sole of the left boot. Above the heels to each of their interiors rise leather pull tabs. The boots measure 27cm from their toes to heels. They are lightly soiled, inside and out, with noticeable scuffing to their uppers, and more moderate wear may be seen to their soles and heels.
