J000756 (IJA) TYPE 90 COMBAT HELMET WITH COVER & CAMOUFLAGE NET. Absolutely wonderful example of a Japanese Army helmet with cover, net and original grass. Decent 1^st pattern cover, sowing numerous field repairs and alterations. Cover still retains it original yellow wool star which is sewn to a circular olivedrab wool base. Very nice original IJA net with pieces of grass still tied to it. Helmet is the standard type 90, complete with original three pad, pig skin liner and tie string. Original chinstrap is also complete, looks like it may have been shortened a bit. Complete combat vets like this don’t turn up very often. Nice!
