N013356 GERMAN GENERAL-GOVERNMENT IN OCCUPIED BELGIUM PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT POSTER. (Anschlagzettel) A 26 1/2" x 42", linen-backed paper poster, to whose obverse is printed an announcement, repeated, from left to right, in German, Flemish, and French. The announcement is entitled "Publication of-the German General - Government," and what follows, from Berlin on the 22nd of November, are official reports, from the day before, of developments in the western and eastern theaters of the war, in the Balkans, and, reported from Vienna on the same day, on the Russian, Italian, and South-east fronts. To the base of each announcement is printed "The General -Government in Belgium." Its reverse is featureless. Light edge wear may be seen along either side of the obverse, and typical age soiling is evident throughout.
