G03750 COLORIZED PHOTO/ARTWORK POSTCARD. (Postkarte) A 3 3/8" x 5 3/8", printed postcard with a colorized and re-touched photograph to its obverse of two uniformed figures; the first a Pickelhaube-wearing superior who has evidently just given the second figure, an overjoyed underling, a paper reading "Urlaub 8 Tage" (Leave 8 Days). Overtop is printed "6. Hat man den Dienst fein abgeschraubt, Geht man 8 Tage auf Urlaub." To the reverse is an address and a handwritten note dated for September 1916. Light age soiling and yellowing is evident. Of Note: This is obviously a companion to G04350 which has a caption that is numbered fifth in the series and depicts the same two soldiers.
