G017557 IMPERIAL NATIONAL FLAG. (Fahne) An enormous, 190" x 105", six-piece bunting construction flag, in the national tri-colors of, from top to bottom, black, white and red. Each color is made up of two panels which run the length of the flag. Small, rectangular reinforcing panels are to each corner of the hoist edge. A 1 1/8" wide, white tunnel loop, in the same material as the remainder of the flag, is sewn along its hoist edge, through which passes a rope, sewn fast at either end. From the upper end, the rope exits just far enough to form a loop, through which passes the base of a swiveling metal ring. From the lower end, the rope extends for 74", and ends in another formed loop. The black panels have several noticeable holes to them, the red and white panels slightly less so, although there is an obvious tear mid-way along the edge of the red panel, and a sewn repair is to its end.
