A smooth, blackened leather, softshell holster for the Belgian 7.65mm, 626 pistol. The holster features a fold over, top flap with stitched horizontal hinge to reverse and two vertical stitched and rivetted retaining straps. The vertical stitched and rivetted retaining straps extended to the reverse of the holster and also function as belt loops. To the obverse center of top fold over flap is an extended steel stud with a corresponding upward pointing, vertical, stud eyelet, closure strap affixed to the body of the holster by a small stitched on rectangular wire clip. The holster has an extra magazine pouch stitched to the front and two small leather horizontal loops with a leather cup below them stitched to the side for a cleaning rod. The barrel tip of holster has two small steel grommets for a leg lanyard. The interior of top fold over flap has a faint illegible inkstamp. The holster shows numerous small scrapes and scuffs, has a small tear to the opening by the flap hinge but the leather is still quite supple for its age.
