G013657 TWO PLACE RIBBON BAR.
(Kleine Ordensschnalle) A 1 1/8" x 11/16" horizontal ribbon bar, where each of its two ribbons are approximately 9/16" wide. The ribbons featured are for, from left to right, the Iron Cross, most likely second class, and the Honor Cross of the World War 1914/1918, with applied, gilt-colored crossed swords, signifying a combatant. A horizontal pin-back device, in brass, is crimped to the unmarked, rectangular metal plate to its reverse. Light age soiling is evident to each of the horizontally ribbed moire ribbons, and oxidization stains may be seen along their upper and lower edges. Their colors, however, are still bright, and all of the gilt wash to the swords, although dulled, appears to have been retained.GRADE ***1/2 PRICE $25.00
