G009062 WWI IDENTIFICATION DOCUMENT. (Ausweis) A light weight document measuring approximately 12cm x 23cm with "Ausweis No 1290764" to the top and is dated "1918." Central to the document is the "Fingerprint of Right Index Finger" and is acknowledging that it is his personal decision and personal mark. Four signatures are present below the fingerprint. A round inked seal of the "8 Armee" with the Prussian heraldic eagle central to the seal. The document shows heavy yellowing typical of it’s age with some fraying/tearing to the edges. Nice example.
