G000256 M1910 WHITE GARRISON TROUSERS. (Küperunterhose)
BACKGROUND: The standard garrison trousers used by the German army from 1910 to 1918. The trousers underwent slight modifications. The first change was in late 1910 when the watch pocket was moved to the exterior and was now double stitched for extra strength. The second being in 1911, when the front fly closer buttons were reduced from five to four.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Very nice set of M1910's (later pair with the 1911 modification to the front buttons and exterior watch pocket). Ribbed, white cloth construction. Four button fly front closer. Dual stitched exterior watch pocket to right upper leg area. All of the zinc suspender buttons are complete except for one. Buttons all have original stitching. Very nice "BAXII 14" (1914 dated) marking. Waist is a size 36. Very decent examples.
