H08250 ARMY ISSUE MAP OF KUBLANK & VICINITY. (Karte) 23 1/2" x 19 5/8", printed, black and white, 1:25,000 scale army issue, "Meßtischblatt", (Ordnance-Survey map), of the Kublank region of north eastern Germany. The top edge of the map has printed script which includes, "Nur für den Dienstgebrauch!" (For service use only!). The map shows all of the topographical features of the region as well as cities, towns and villages, and the road and railway networks. The bottom edge of the map has printed script which includes, "Herausgegeben von der Preußischen Landesaufnahme 1891, Reichsamt für Landesaufnahme, Einzelne Nachträge 1929", (Published by the Prussian Land Survey Office 1891, National Land Survey Office, Detailed Addendum 1929). Map also has additional printed script, "Druck: Armeekartenstelle (mot.) 580 II. 45", (Printing: Army Map Department (motorized 580 February 1945). The map shows light age yellowing and has been stored rolled up so there are no fold creases. Interestingly the reverse of the map has an additional black and white printed map of the "Mischino-Jljenki", region. The Mischino-Jljenki map is fairly crude but shows all the topographical features of the region as well as cities, towns and villages, and the road and railway networks. All four sides of the map have been cut-off but it does not affect the Kublank map on the other side.
