H050062 MODEL 41 GERMAN HORSE LEGGINGS. (Leggings) Throughout WWII, horse drawn transport remained an important part of the German military supply organization. The horse leggings were used to protect the lower part of the leg while on contaminated ground. The front leg covers are designed to be shorter than the hind covers. The leggings are sleeve like shaped in a grey/green rubberized fabric with a reinforced fabric covered elastic to keep the legging snug. The top has a reinforced rubber wall with "aqd" and "41/43"embossed to the surface. The front pair measure approximately 55cm long while the rear pair measure 62cm long. These leggings show some wear and use, but overall are in very nice condition.
