The pistol has wooden, cross hatched grips held in place by a single screw to each side The pistol comes complete with an six round, blued, sheet metal magazine. The magazine is inserted into the bottom edge of the grip and the securing button is intact and still functions. To the opposite side the pistol is marked "WaA140" which indicates that this pistol was produced late 1941-1944. Serialization began in the 67-68,000 range up to 155,000. The serial number "144680" is clearly visible. Typical usage and wear is visible to the surfaces. The deactivation is irreversible but does not overly detract from the pistols appearance.
