H040464 GERMAN WW2 BICYCLE SEAT. (Fahrradsitz) A bicycle seat for the Truppenfahrrad. Seat portion is all leather construction, measuring roughly 30cm long with a back width of 20cm. The springs and frame are all complete as is the original attachment clamp. Small brass makers tag to the back of the seat "IDEALE". Ideale was a French saddle maker that would have produced the seats for the German army while under occupation. Shows period use and wear but overall intact and in usable condition.
