H006967 MERCEDES L701 TRUCK.
The L701 is the name of the Opel Blitz built under license by Daimler Benz AG: nearly 3500 were built since March '44. This truck was found just after the war in the countryside near Stuttgart, being partially restored and put in a German museum. In 2002 it was sold and completely restored in every part; engine is original and perfectly running condition (just drive away, NO WORK needed on it). The Einheitskabine is original in wood and perfectly restored; the back wood replaced by new, hard wood and treated against wet to make it more resistant. The frame has NO rust, it was even treated with graphite to protect it against water. Included with truck two license plate (SS and WH) with correct numbers, Wheel Jack, all documents needed for importation, three 20lt German Jerry cans and removable bars for modern lights (both back and front lights).
